A new poll on American political ideology has come out of Gallup: Attitudes have remained constant throughout 2020 as 12 twelve months of non-stop turmoil swept across the nation. The survey uses combined data from 18 separate surveys that include interviews with over 18,000 American adults. Newell invited Lydia Saad, Senior Editor with Gallup, to explain what the numbers show.
“The approach you took in comparing where we were in 1992-1994, and the collapse of where the ideological trend was then and where it is now really hit me,” Newell began. “Not many differences in many respects: tell us about it.”
