Your iPhone is jam-packed with useful features and functions, many of which you probably are not aware of. A TikTok technology recently shared off of unknown iPhone hacks that made using your device a breeze. In a video published with its 2.4 million followers earlier this month, user @katamogz featured them. You can easily turn off an application to the Lock Screen if it sends you a lot of alarms.

To stop an application from sending alerts to you for a while, swipe left on a notification and tap options. You can then choose to silence notifications for that service for an hour or the rest of the day. First, you will need to take a screenshot by pressing two buttons simultaneously. On iPhones without the Home Button, hit the power and volume keys at the same time. On older devices, press the Power key and the Home Button to hold one. From there, click the full page at the top of your screen and click Done to save the entire page as a PDF. All you need to do is send someone a special trigger text on iMessage to activate each effect. Pressing “pew pew” activates the laser effect, for example, while “birthday” causes balloons to float on the screen. To try it yourself, type three or more emojis and then hold the send button (that is the green arrow to the right of the text box).
