Microsoft is releasing Office 2019 for Mac to customers with volume licensing, full release

Microsoft is publishing its new iteration of Office today, Office 2019for Mac today. The main focus on the new version is exclusively aimed at users and companies that have not switched to the Office 365 subscription service.

As reported by The edge, the new version is actually everything that Office 365 has offered in recent years, packed in a new version that is available for a one-off price. Office 2019 includes updates for Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Outlook and the rest of the Office application package.

Office 2019 includes a roaming case and ribbon adjustments for all Office apps. In addition to a new translator, Microsoft also brings the focus mode to Word and improves accessibility. Morph transitions, support for SVG and 3D models, playback sequences and 4k video export all come to PowerPoint.

For companies, Exchange, Skype, SharePoint and Project Server 2019 will be released in the coming weeks. Office 2019 is available today for commercial volume licensing, with a general release for consumers and business customers in the coming weeks. Microsoft has yet to set a date for those customers.
