From this week, Marantz has deployed AirPlay 2 support on compatible speakers and receivers. Until now, I received confirmation that updates to Marantz AV 7704 Home Theater Receiver users are being offered, but the update may be expanded to other models as well.

Apple released a full list of speakers supporting AirPlay 2 in March, but according to some audio companies, including Marantz, this list proved to be wrong.
Sonos last month provided support for AirPlay 2 to the speaker. Sonos speakers supporting Apple's latest wireless technology include Beam, Playbase, One, and Second Gen. The company is coloring the reason why early speakers like Play: 1 do not receive AirPlay 2 updates.
