Marantz will begin supporting AirPlay 2 for compatible audio accessories

From this week, Marantz has deployed AirPlay 2 support on compatible speakers and receivers. Until now, I received confirmation that updates to Marantz AV 7704 Home Theater Receiver users are being offered, but the update may be expanded to other models as well.

The complete list of Marantz hardware supporting AirPlay 2 is as follows.

As Marantz said earlier that the update will begin in August, it seems to be on schedule so far. The model that receives updates this week is unknown,

Apple released a full list of speakers supporting AirPlay 2 in March, but according to some audio companies, including Marantz, this list proved to be wrong.

Sonos last month provided support for AirPlay 2 to the speaker. Sonos speakers supporting Apple's latest wireless technology include Beam, Playbase, One, and Second Gen. The company is coloring the reason why early speakers like Play: 1 do not receive AirPlay 2 updates.
