Glenn Fleishman reminds me that iCloud drives should not be used only as a backup service.
Apple does not offer a way to back up data with only copies. In many cases, information that is difficult to restore may be mixed even if you have a complete copy.
Previously iCloud drives were only used, but now it is diversified. The ideal solution is a combination of cloud storage and physical storage. Cloud services like Backblaze can also be used on your Mac or external hard drive. For iPhone and iPad, you can use a special flash drive like iXpand. Earlier this year, I bought a wireless SanDisk that I can use on both iDevices and Mac.
