Steam Link for iOS rejected from App Store

Sorry iPad, no Steam Link for you

The Steam Link app acts as a kind of led can play games desktop computer other devices. In this case, it is the iPad. Apple first approved the applicati early May, but quickly reversed the trend citing the guidelines of the App Store prohibiting "business cflicts".

Valve appealed the decisi but was eventually dismissed. This means that the applicati, which was originally approved, will not come into the App Store at any time, if ever.

The decisi could potentially make sense if there were not already any other applicatis available that allow you to remotely view your Mac, which is exactly what Steam Link does. Several VNC applicatis are available, such as VNC Viewer. TeamViewer and screens also give you remote access to your Mac desktop. The big difference with Steam Link is that it has been optimized for playing Steam video games.

It seems that Apple is not interested in the iPad being a place where you can play Steam games. This is particularly disappointing csidering the operati of the beta versis.
