The Oculus Go Standale VR Headset is now available for $ 199 purchase

At the Facebook F8 Facebook Developer Cference this morning, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced the launch of Oculus Go, the latest virtual reality headset from Oculus, which belgs to Facebook.

priced at $ 199, the Oculus Go is Oculus's first standale VR headset, which according to Zuckerberg represents the "first truly affordable stand-ale virtual reality headset".

It comes with over 1000 apps, and it features the "highest quality lenses and optics" that Oculus has ever integrated into a virtual reality device. Given his affordable price, Zuckerberg says it will be the "easiest way to access virtual reality" and that society expects it to be the number of people who will experience virtual reality for the first time.

Design wise, the Oculus Go looks like the Oculus Rift. This is a VR headset that fits the eyes and attaches to the head with adjustable straps and breathable fabrics. It's a stand-ale device, which means that it does not require a cnecti to a computer or gaming system to work.

Oculus Go features a 5.5 inch screen with a resoluti of 2560 x 1440 (1280 x 1140 per eye) and works with Qualcomm's Snapdrag 821 processor.

There are spatial audio drivers built into the headset to provide immersive sound, but it also includes a 3.5mm headphe jack to allow users to cnect headphes if you wish. The included ctroller translates natural movements into VR using a touch-sensitive surface and a trigger butt.
