The head of Hip-Hop / R & B programming at Apple Music, Carl Chery, would be headed to his competitor Spotify.
Chery has been working for Apple since 2014, and has been respsible for helping launch the careers of Cardi B, Brys Tiller, Post Male, and others.

. Chery and Iovine were both integrated into the company when Apple acquired Beats by Dre. Their almost simultaneous departures are not necessarily linked. Iovine does not leave Apple, and he certainly will not work for Spotify, he just takes a more modest role in the business.
