Is Apple working an automous car – or simply an automated steering system? Read to find out what's going behind the wheel at Apple

Apple has a number of projects underway behind the scenes, and at least e of them involves cars. The company – alg with many other high-tech companies – is studying how technology will find its place in the cars of the future. We do not want to say that Apple is building a real car, but it seems that the company is interested in the technology behind automous cars and other exciting developments in this space. (And e analyst still thinks that Apple is likely to manufacture the cars itself in the next two years.)

The iCar project ctinues behind the scenes at Apple for a lg time. In February 2015, there were murmurs that Apple was working a car that "would give Tesla a run for its mey" after Business Insider spoke to an Apple employee who knew the subject. This, coupled with observatis of cars recorded at Apple with sensors / cameras (which were later debunked), everye talked about the prospects of an Apple car, or iCar.

The iCar project is codenamed 'Titan', according to The Wall Street Journal, which originally stated that there were 'several hundred' employees from Apple working the project.

A Bloomberg interview in June 2017 with CEO Tim Cook suggested that Apple was working an automous driving platform. This was supported in November 2017, when two Apple computers …
