Mojave Privacy Protecti
MacOS Mojave requires apps to ask for your permissi before they can access data such as photos, emails, webcam, microphe, ctacts, and calendars. If you are an iOS user, you are familiar with this type of rights. Frankly, I am surprised that Apple took so lg to add those permissis to macOS.
However, you can get into trouble. iOS has been designed from the outset with these rights in mind. While with macOS Apple suffers a permissi system top of the operating system. Apps are used to give aly these permissis, so if an app tries to access system resources without permissi, it can crash.
You can see which apps have permissi for certain things by going to System Preferences gt; Security; Privacy gt; Privacy. Usually you do not have to do much. If an app that has been updated for macOS Mojave needs permissi, a dialog box appears.
