An line Petiti Calls Apple To Replace Defective MacBook Keyboards
Matthew Taylor petitied Change.org this week saying, [19659005] Apple, it's time to recall all released MacBook Pro since the end of 2016, and replace keyboards all keyboards with new, redesigned keyboards that work.
His petiti echoes complaints from other owners of MacBook and MacBook Pro about keyboards that are not working properly. Typically, some keys stop respding and even if sometimes a compressed air outlet gives them life, the most comm soluti is to replace the entire keyboard.
Replacing the keyboard is a fairly complex process where you bring your laptop to the Genius Bar at your local Apple store. From there, it is shipped to a repair center where the entire top box is replaced. The entire process usually takes about three days.
In some cases, the replaced keyboards eventually fail as well. I know the problem very well because my MacBook Pro Touch Bar has been replaced when some keys have stopped working. My laptop will so return to Genius Bar because the problem is back
