Panasic announces the new full-frame mirrorless camera of the Lumix S series, with some serious specificatis to compete with the range of other newly announced models.
The Panasic Lumix S-series is an aggressive offer to get the newly announced Nik Z6 / Z7 and Can EOS R models in the fast-heating mirrorless full-frame market.
Announced during Photokina 2018, the Lumix S-line has both in-camera and in-lens stabilizati and currently csists of the 47-megapixel S1R and the 24-megapixel S1. Both will launch in the spring of 2019, explaining the vagueness in some of the announced specificatis.
Panasic says that these cameras will have the highest shutter speeds, the highest flash sync speed and the EFF the highest resoluti the market.
To match these cameras, Panasic takes over the L-Mount from Lecia for the lens system that supports eight Lecia lenses at launch, plus three of Panasic's lenses. Panasic has a 50 mm f / 1.4 as well as 24-105 mm and 70-200 mm telephoto lenses.
