It turns out that there are no rooms hidden behind the walls of King Tutankhamen's tomb in the Valley of the Kings. Natial Geographic has a story about a recent effort to use radar to find hidden theoretical chambers that could have housed the mummy of Queen Nefertiti. It was a third test after two previous tests were incclusive, but this time, they think so. In a statement, the Supreme Council of Egyptian Antiquities said: "We cclude, with a very high level of cfidence, that the hypothesis regarding the existence of hidden chambers next to the tomb of Tutankhamun [to] is not supported by GPR data. " Pity. The story of NatGeo is much more detailed (with a lot of cool pictures), and it's a very good read
