Apple released macOS 10.13.5 today, an update that brings the lg awaited iCloud Messages feature to Mac users.
The new feature, which Apple has deployed iPhones and iPads earlier this week in iOS 11.4, should free up space your Mac. Most importantly, it will finally allow you to sync iMessages with all your Apple devices via the cloud.

The update also supports an undisclosed security issue.
"For the protecti of customers, Apple does not disclose, discuss or cfirm security issues until an investigati has taken place and patches or versis are available", indicates a statement the Apple website. "Keeping your software up-to-date is e of the most important things you can do to maintain the security of your Apple product."
The security update also covers users who still work with OS X El Capitan 10.11.6 and macOS Sierra 10.12.6
