L ike AirPlay 2, lg awaited messages in the iCloud feature finally launched in iOS 11.4 this week. Unfortunately, Mac users might have to wait a little lger to use it.
iOS 11.4 was officially released to the public earlier this week, adding messages in the iCloud support for iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch. But the messages in iCloud are also the registry for macOS 10.13.5. But, oddly, this update has not been released yet.
In the past, Apple generally released its various software updates the same day. Often, iOS and macOS updates start almost simultaneously. But, nearly three days after the deployment of iOS 11.4, macOS 10.13.5 remains elusive.
The latest versi of macOS is 10.13.4, released in April. macOS 10.13.5 currently has five beta versis, and apparently has not yet left the testing phase
Interestingly, GadgetHacks spotted a curious snag with his own posts. Apple in the iCloud page.
the page indicates that users can access the new feature by updating their iOS or macOS devices. A day later, this same support document was edited to remove all references to macOS.
Other cfusing things is the fact that Apple has already sown the first beta developer for macOS 10.13.6. Yes, this means that there are currently two versis of macOS in the beta test phase.
