Mac Mini Refresh, new cheap laptop, Apple watches with larger displays and more to come this fall

Apple is working updates for its entire product line for the secd half of 2018, according to a note from a new investor shared this morning by Ming-Chi Kuo, an analyst at Apple, with expected updates for iPhone, iPad, Mac mini, MacBook Pro, iMac and Apple Watch.

Much of what Kuo has to share has already been mentied, but it gives a good overview of what we can expect to see this fall with some exciting new information the upcoming product line. Apple.

  • iPhone – There are three current iPhones, two OLED models of 5.8 and 6.5 inches and a lower cost LED model that will be available in a size of 6.1 inches. All three will have Face IDs and improved A12 processors. While both OLED models will have dual lens cameras, the lower-cost model will feature a single-lens camera
  • iPad Pro – Apple is working two new iPad Pro models of 11 and 12.9 inches that are equipped with a full-screen design similar to the iPhone X and no Home butt, with Apple to replace Touch ID with Face ID.
  • Mac mini – Kuo did not have a lot of information to share the Mac mini, but he says that a processor upgrade is expected. The Mac mini has not been updated for more than 1300 days, more than 3 years and a half. It's not clear if additial upgrades will be included, such as a redesigned chassis, but at least some sort of refresh is the horiz.
