TThe creator of Apple's famous "Think Different" campaign claims that Apple is still innovating – and will ctinue to do so.
Ken Segall has a story with Apple. Segall is known as "iMac" and was for 12 years the creative director of the advertising agency who devised the Think Different advertising campaign.
In a recent interview with The herald of KoreaSegall meditated his time working with Steve Jobs and Apple, but the former ad man said the Cupertino company did not become stagnant without its late co-founder.
"Steve was totally unique and will never be replaced, so it's impossible for Apple to be the same," Segall said. "But I think its value is there, and the bright people are there, so things are going the frt."
He added that he believes that innovati at Apple probably occurs in a similar rhythm under Tim Cook.
But, interestingly, Segall denied that Apple is revolutiary because it releases revolutiary products.
While arguably integral to the business, Segall said that "Apple's innovati versi is not the first in the world to come out with this new type of category of products ".
This comment may echo the thought of Apple under Tim Cook. Earlier this year, when asked about augmented reality glasses, Cook said, "We do not give a rat to be the first, we want to be the best in creating people's experiences."
