iPhone and iPad Touch ID technology at the center of the lawsuit filed by a likely troll patent

A South Korean company, First Face, filed a US patent infringement suit against Apple and Samsung for their implementati of fingerprint detecti to unlock smartphes.

The case was reportedly filed in the North District Court of California in San Jose April 10, BusinessKorea claimed Thursday. The company is said to have three US patents technology, and accuses Apple of violating it with all Touch ID devices, and Samsung's infringing products like the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy Tab S2.

AppleInsider not able to find the paperwork of the suit Thursday morning for the lawsuit, nor any lawsuit filed against Apple in the whole of April, minus the going Qualcomm case at Texas. It is possible that a filing irregularity prevented him from entering, but if the trial had actually been filed April 10, he should be available for digital recovery now.
