Two years ago, the supply chain analyst Ming-Chi Kuo told investors that Apple has been the producti of high-end, over-ear headset with features similar to AirPods.
Today, we have our first look at the design of the new headphes from Apple before they are actually announced. 9to5Mac has discovered two ics representing the light and dark versis of Apple’s high-end headphes in iOS 14 code.
The two ics discovered by 9to5Mac give us the clearest picture to date of how top-of-the-range, -ear Apple headphes will look. These glyphs are used in iOS 14 to represent the unreleased headphes through the operating system, including Apple’s battery and the state of charge widget.
the basis of two versis of the same glyph, we expect Apple to offer at least two color optis for the ear versi of AirPodslikely to black or space grey and white. Apple has ly offered AirPods and AirPods Pro in white.
It is possible of the light and of the dark glyphs could represent other colors beyd black and white. Apple Beats headphes the use of color as a great marketing feature, for example, but Apple has not given the AirPods range the same treatment.
