IMHO, a big flaw of Apple is that you can not restore Notes backups from iCloud.com. You can do it with a bunch of other types of data (which I've already talked about), but unfortunately you can not do it with Notes.

That said, if you are looking for an item that you may have accidentally removed, the Notes program keeps it for 30 days after deleti. If you open the applicati your Mac, you can display the sidebar ( View> Show Folders ) to find the secti "Recently deleted"
