How to reset the SMC a Mac: A quick fix for persistent problems

If you have serious and / or persistent problems with your Mac (it does not turn , for example) and the usual tips do not work, you can try less known solutis, such as resetting the SMC (System Management Ctroller).

The SMC stores, amg other things, the parameters related to the management of power and temperature, and if it starts to behave badly, it can lead to noise and performance problems. It is therefore worth resetting it if more obvious solutis (such as restarting the Mac) do not help you.
