You may need to remove or change the SIM card for your iPhone for various reass. Whether you're selling or trading your device, switching carriers, or traveling a trip, follow the steps below to learn how to proceed easily and tips for keeping track of multiple SIM cards.
If you purchased an unlocked iPhone, Apple SIM free, you will find a SIM ejector tool in the small envelope as shown in the image below. If you do not have e, you can use a small paperclip folded as shown below. Make sure it slips easily into the SIM tray eject hole

How to remove your SIM card iPhone
- Take a SIM ejector or small paper clip (folded as shown above)
- Push the tool into the hole next to the SIM card tray ( the right side of your iPhone)
- The tray of your SIM card should come out forcefully, without straining  All models of the iPhone 4 and above have the same SIM tray slot the right side. The ly models to have a SIM tray top are the original iPhone, 3G and 3GS.
Note that your SIM card and your tray can ly come back in e way. Look for the cutout in both and match them. The printed side of your SIM card is face up when you put it back in your iPhone.
