Google Maps to get Augmented Reality, V VPS & # 39; and other improvements

Google announced Tuesday changes to Google Maps, including augmented reality support and a ccept called "VPS", abbreviati for "visual positiing system".

With AR enabled, a future versi of the Maps applicati will merge its traditial interface with a live camera view.
