Gast D'Aquino, age 76, is the last to say that Apple Watch has saved his life

Gast D'Aquino says that the Apple Watch saved his life. By sharing his story, he hopes it can help save the lives of others too.

After the South China Morning Post 76-year-old man was sitting at the church when his Apple Watch l & rsquo; Alerted her of her high heart rate. Having read similar stories before, he went straight to a local hospital.

"I told the doctor that I do not know why I am here, but my watch tells me that I have a high heart rate," Aquino said. He said, "Do you feel something? "I said no, I feel good, I feel good, nothing is okay.

After an electrocardiograph machine reported that something was wrg, the doctors performed tests and found that two of the three main corary arteries were completely blocked, with the third 90% lock. Of course, this means that he was at risk of suffering a potentially fatal heart attack.

D'Aquino said that he had previously csulted a cardiologist, who had prescribed him daily medicatis for diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure, but nothing was going . indicated that there were deeper problems.


After the doctors shared the test results with him, Dr. Aquino quickly accepted an angioplasty, a procedure to restore blood flow to the heart by implanting tiny stents into the arteries obstructed or blocked. He was sent home the next day and said "it's ge well and I feel much better."
