Image-Line has finally brought its FL Studio digital audio workstati, or FruityLoops, to the Mac after two decades of being available ly Windows. Pitchfork reported the news, 20 years in the making, this week:

After years of users asking for a Mac port, the development company Image-Line started working a Mac versi in 2013. Now, with FL Studio 20, the software is officially available OSX. Project sessis are compatible between Windows and Mac, and pre-existing FL Studio users can download the Mac versi at no additial cost.
FruityLoops has a lg time compani software available iOS and Android – FL Studio Mobile for iPhone and iPad sells for $ 13.99 with favorable reviews – so music producers should welcome the DAW the Mac as well.
The Verge notes that the Mac versi will not be fully compatible with Windows projects, due to some differences in compatibility:
You can get the most basic versi of the program for $ 99, so that the enhanced FL Studio costs $ 899 and includes a host of VSTs (ly a few of which, it should be noted, are compatible with Mac).
