Foxcn plans to resume normal producti by the end of the mth of March

Apple supplier Foxcn says it will return to the normal mode of operati by the end of the mth after the closure caused by the coravirus, and also that more than half of its usual seasal workers have aly back to work.

Following a previous plan to take over approximately half its regular producti, and also as a result of encouraging workers to return, Foxcn now says that it expects its plants in China to be back to normal producti by the end of the mth of March.

According to Reuters, the chairman of Foxcn, Liu, Young-Way held line investor cference Tuesday, in which he announced the plan. Without specifying figures, he also said that more than half of the regular seasal workforce aly had returned to work.

“The preventi of the epidemic, the resumpti of work, and producti are in the forefrt of our priorities,” Young-Way says.

Young-Way has also told investors that there are no significant outstanding issues with the supply chain, and Foxcn has been helping its suppliers to resume the work themselves.

Originally, Foxcn was said during the first days of the outbreak of coravirus, that it would not be affected because it was able to move manufacturing to other sites.

More recently, he said that the epidemic will have an impact its profits for the year, and according to Reuters, Foxcn shares have fallen more than 10% so far this year.
