The typically reliable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo reports that Apple will announce its first ARM from the Mac to the end of 2020. This is a new MacBook Pro model that will be sale early in 2021.
2019 MacBook Pro seems to still striking years later
Apple plans to switch from Intel to ARM processors appears to be accelerating, according to a research note from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, who has been seen by AppleInsider. He expects Apple to announce the release of its first ARM Macs in the last quarter of the year 2020, with the shipment, either the announcement, or before the end of the first quarter of 2021.
Kuo, who has generally been very accurate about Apple’s plans, cfirms the previous speculati that the first ARM of Mac laptop. It does not specify, however, whether it will be a MacBook Pro, a MacBook Air or a return to the interrupted, MacBook.
Apple has reported moved up to producti in respse to the impact of coravirus the producti and demand of other products. Kuo said that the demand for the models of MacBook is affected by the same problems, but it has remained more stable.
He also reports that the market respse for 16-inch MacBook Pro with its new pair of scissors keyboard is larger than Apple has anticipated, so that the same system is moving to all laptops.
More specifically, Kuo predicts a new 13-inch MacBook Pro and MacBook Air will be launched with this keyboard by the end of June 2020. Then, he sees the ARM-based MacBook to come in the last quarter of the year 2020 or the first quarter of 2021.
Then, he claims that Apple will introduce the MacBook Pro models with a new design in the secd or third quarter of 2021.
