Developers Uni wants free trials for all iOS apps

Four coders came together to found The Developers Uni, whose basic premise is that "people who create good software should be able to make a living."

The first cause of the group is to ask Apple everything in the App Store. The uni intends to advocate for further changes in the future.

The four founders of The Developers Uni (TDU) are Jake Schumacher, Roger Ogden, Loren Morris and Brent Simms

. meaning, with ctributis, vote, etc. The goal is to give a strger voice to small developers. "I'm not very interested in creating a traditial uni, I'm more interested in bringing back the voice of indie to the hor and it's a step in that directi" Morris told Wired.

Developers and anye who wants to support their causes can join TDU his site. There is also a Twitter account that was launched this morning.

Free trials apps

The first reas that the group has adopted is to cvince Apple to put time-limited testing in the App Store. This would help potential customers decide if they want a relatively expensive applicati without having to put mey aside. The theory is that people would be more likely to pay for more expensive applicatis if they had already tried them.
