DC Hi Center sees five times the number of visitors to Apple following the restorati of the Carnegie Library

Apple’s investment in the cservati and educati to Washingt DC is aly have an impact the community and future generatis of historians. The Historical Society Of Washingt, DC, announced today in an email newsletter that his DC Hi Center attracted nearly 60 000 visitors since the re-establishment of the Apple Carnegie Library, completed in May 2019. The number represents a fivefold increase in the number of visitors compared to the last time that the building is functial in 2016.

Today’s announcement coincides with the appointment of Laura Bower Hagood as the new executive Director of the historical society. Hagood served as the Natial Building Museum’s Vice-President for Development and now hopes to grow the DC Hi Center newly renovated home the top floor of Apple’s Carnegie Library.
