Apple recently seems to be struggling with hardware, as Apple began to announce the iPhone 8 alternative program.
The company says devices sold in September 2017 to March 2018 in Australia, China, Hg Kg, India, Japan, Macau, New Zealand, and the United States are affected.
As in most cases of Apple's other repair programs, it is useful because you have to type in the serial number the program's website.
As usual, devices with physical damage like screen cracked need to be repaired before being sent for service.
Repair is free as lg as the state of your iPhone 8 is good. Apple currently does not menti whether this will affect the iPhone 8 Plus. This program can be purchased within 3 years after purchase.
Please check if your iPhone 8 is eligible here.
