It is very rare that Apple publicly apologizes for material errors. In fact, the company generally corrects these problems with future versis of its hardware. For example, the company has reinforced the iPhone 6s and later models with 7000 series space aluminum to prevent wear and damage to the phe body.
All this without admitting that the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus had a problem with bending, at least publicly. According to Motherboard Apple was making engineering changes the hardware, nearly 1.5 years into the iPhone 6 cycle to further strengthen the case of this phe model.
Another flaw with the hardware design of the iPhone 6 was with the internal IC touch chip that dealt with the touch input the device better known as the "Touch Disease". Over time and impact, the chip would become less reliable and potentially inert. Again, this was due to the general structure of the device, with several points of failure that led to the flexi of the iPhone.
Not surprising since Apple is barely out and admits to having a defective product. the ctrary, they prefer to make internal changes to the hardware itself that solves the problem if customers come and get their devices under warranty. Ability to ask employees to replace affected n-warranty devices.
