Apple's collaborati with Salesforce could boost the sales of HomePod. Marriott plans to use software from the team with HomePods in hotel rooms so that customers can use their voice to change room temperature, order food and more. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said,
At the annual Salesforce customer cference this week, Marriott Internatial will be demstrating a new system that uses Salesforce and Apple tools to help hotel guests raise their prices, order sandwiches, or ride Siri with an Apple HomePod in their hotel room . And at the next Marriot where the guest stays, Siri remembers the guest's preferences, even their favorite sandwich.
That sounds like an opportunity for many HomePod lighting and a nice way to increase the familiarity of users. I wder if Marriott customers feel comfortable with a HomePod in their room, or whether they are ccerned about privacy.
