Apple Retail Expands HomeKit Demos with Nanoleaf Remote Work Area

Apple is expanding its in-store HomeKit marketing and demstrati activities with a new cvenient display featuring the Nanoleaf remote ctrol and the company's colorful LED lighting panels.

Many HomeKit products are available in Apple Stores, from point-of-sale, lights, to cameras. Few have ever had their own interactive demos.

Nanoleaf demstrati statis were launched globally July 18 in 200 Apple retail stores. In installatis, users can try out Nanoleaf's new Remote Dodecahedr and see how they can ctrol the company's triangular light panels. The Nanoleaf Remote is able to both change the brightness and alternate between scenes.

A custom applicati also works iPhone so that users can see how the applicati ctrols the light panels and create complex scenes with different colors, transitis and timings.

In the store, the demo focuses the use of the remote ctrol with the Nanoleaf illuminated panels. It is actually able to ctrol any HomeKit accessory, making it much more useful. We have already examined the remote in the heart of the demo statis, finding that it was a solid remote for HomeKit, even if it required a bit of user educati.

Previously, Apple deployed interactive HomeKit demstrati areas in 46 stores across the country. United States with video walls simulating a smart home. Visitors can use the Home app iPhone, iPad or Apple Watch and see how the changes unfold.
