Apple releases Safari 12 for owners of macOS Sierra High Sierra

Apple Mday launched Safari 12 for its two most recent Mac operating systems, Sierra and High Sierra, which primarily improve security and privacy.

The updated browser blocks social media butts or embedded ctent from exlens to follow cross-site browsing without permissi and makes it more difficult for advertisers to identify individual Macs. It will also suggest strg passwords when creating or updating an account and can mark reused bets.

Extensis are a specific focus, since the update ends the support for older items that have not been reviewed by Apple, alg with the "most" NPAPI (Netscape Plugin Applicati Programming Interface) add-ins. The software will disable extensis that damage performance.

Other security touches include the opti to block or allow pop-ups per site and various vulnerability fixes.

Finally users can now see the ic of a website in each tab, making it less cfusing to switch.

The updated browser is available through the Software Update tool in the Mac App Store. Safari 12 comes pre-installed with macOS Mojave, which arrives September 24th. That upgrade includes features such as Stacks, enhanced Quick Look features, and Mac ports from iOS apps, including Home, News, Stocks and Voice Memos.
