e day after the public release of macOS Mojave, Apple released a beta versi of the first point update for developers of the operating system for testing Tuesday.
Now available for download from the Apple developer website, the first macOS 10.14.1 beta with a build number of 18B45d seems to be a minor update from the newly launched Mac operating system.
Apple has not yet released release information for the software, although earlier beta release patterns suggest that versi 10.14.1 ctains bug fixes and general performance improvements. Also the table is support for Group FaceTime, a marquee feature that was initially planned to launch with iOS 12 and macOS Mojave 10.14 this mth, but was stripped of iOS beta in August.
With Group FaceTime, which was presented at the Worldwide Developers Cference in June, 32 users can participate in e video cference call their iOS or macOS devices. In release notes to developers last mth, Apple could not release a release timeline for the video calling feature, ly saying it was expected to debut later this fall. The functi returned to the beta track last week with iOS 12.1, indicating a launch in the near future.
The latest MacOS Mojave beta from Apple also includes a revised download management system. After a first download from the MacOS Developer Beta Access Utility, developers can install new releases from the Software Updates panel in System Preferences as new builds become available.
