Apple plans to start manufacturing another iPhone in India, according to a new report.
Partner Wistr has already started trial producti of the iPhone 6s Plus at its Bangalore factory, where it has been assembling the iPhone SE since last year. Source says mass producti will begin in "the next few weeks."
Apple began assembling the iPhone in India with the goal of reducing costs for local csumers. The tax reforms implemented last July also allowed the company to cut 7.5% of its full range of devices, including the Mac.
Apple is now planning to make another iPhone in India with Wistr, according to a new report.

The Ecomic Times, quoting two people familiar with Apple's plans, reports that the iPhone 6s Plus is already in producti in Bangalore – where Wistr recently entered into an agreement will allow it to expand its manufacturing facility with an investment of $ 157 milli.
