Four years later, it appears that CVS has left this initiative and will eventually accept Apple Pay in its stores. Apple has not yet cfirmed the exact date of implementati, but you can expect it so.

Apple Pay is also expanding in Germany later this year, after arriving in several other European countries, including the United Kingdom and Spain. The total number of supported Apple Pay markets will increase to 28, but the banks will not yet be identified.
