Isaac Asimov was a science ficti writer, and during his lifetime was csidered e of the "Big Three" in the genre, with Robert A. Heinlein and Arthur C. Clarke. Foundati was his most famous work, and it's a story of human beings scattered planets across the galaxy, all living under the rule of the Galactic Empire.
