Apple today began deploying a battery replacement program for MacBook Pro 13-inch n-Touch Bar.
The company says that there is a problem with a small number of MacBook Pro manufactured between October 2016 and October 2017. Affected users can post their MacBook Pro, find an Apple Authorized Service Provider, or visit a Apple Store
To check if your MacBook Pro is affected, go to this link and enter your serial number.
Apple notes that the program does not increase the coverage of your device's standard warranty, and also notes that if you have already paid for a battery replacement, ctact the company to get a refund . The program will be available for 5 years from the original release of the 13-inch MacBook Pro (n-Touch Bar).
