Apple Music Playback service generates a superb play list based the year of your listening so far, and has been updated to support 2020.
The site still has the 2019 list of reading, but the 2020 reading list is at the bottom of the page
After missing the mth of January, Apple’s Music seems to be there for 2020 is Replay. Used to generate a top 100 reading list, the service uses your listening to hi to update the reading list, all the Sundays of the year. This is a unique feature compared to Spotify’s own “Wrapped” service, which ly gives the reading list and other data at the end of the year.
Apple first released Replay in November 2019. The service uses Apple’s beta Apple Music web site to generate the reading list for the first time. From there, users can add all the playlists available for the 2015 launch of the Apple Music. The old reading lists are interesting, because they are no lger updated after the end of the year, and provide a unique insight into your taste in music for a given year.
Since it is so early in the year, some users may not have enough salvati to complete a full reading list. My own 2020 Replay has ly 68 sgs.
Apple Music is e of Apple’s subscripti services and has become a very important source of revenue for the company. Expect more updates to come as they ctinue to compete with Spotify.
