Apple Music reached a new mileste this week, officially reaching 40 milli paid subscribers in 115 countries, reports Variety . The new issue was shared in a memo broadcast by Eddy Cue, who also announced the promoti of Oliver Schusser to the new general manager of Apple Music Worldwide.
Schusser previously held the positi of Vice President of Apple Music and Internatial Ctent and worked algside Eddy Cue for several years for Apple Music, the App Store, iTunes Movies and TV series, iBooks, Podcasts, etc. . He would have played a key role in Apple's recently announced, but not yet finalized, acquisiti of Shazam.
