As the fight for the right to repair e's own devices ctinues, Apple struggles to crack down third-party repair shops that use counterfeit parts.
From after Motherboard Apple the year sent lawyers after Henrik Huseby, the owner of an electrics repair shop in Norway, demanding that the shop stops using spare iPhe screens to repair iPhes. At the time, Apple was simply asking for a settlement.
Norwegian customs authorities prevented 64 iPhe 6 and iPhe 6s replacement deliveries from delivering to Henrik's workshop from Asia, noting that these screens were counterfeit.
