Apple Launches New Daisy and GiveBack Recovery Program for iPhone Recycling Robot

Before Earth Day Sunday, Apple announced today some initiatives that support the company's commitment to the envirment, including its goal of making its products a reality. using ly recycled or renewable materials.

First, for every device traded or recycled at Apple Stores or in the world between today and tomorrow. and April 30, the company will date an undisclosed amount to Cservati Internatial's recipient envirmental agency, which has worked to protect nature in more than 30 countries.

Apple has streamlined its exchange and recycling optis in a new GiveBack program, available its website and at participating retail stores.

Secd, Apple introduced a new iPhone dismounting robot called Daisy as an upgraded versi of Liam, its first dismounting robot launched in 2016. Daisy is located in Austin, Texas, with a secd robot coming in in Breda, the Netherlands. Daisy is made from certain parts of Liam and is able to disassemble nine versis of iPhone and sort their high quality compents for recycling. Daisy can disassemble up to 200 iPhone devices per hour, removing and sorting compents, so that Apple can recover materials that traditial recyclers can not – and of better quality.
