Apple chooses Oliver Schusser to lead Apple Music around the world

Apple promoted Oliver Schusser to the positi of Vice President of Apple Music & Internatial Ctent, effectively entrusting him with respsibility for Apple Music globally.

The change was announced to Apple workers by the vice president of the Internet. Software and Services, Eddy Cue. Schusser has been with Apple for 14 years, most recently managing teams in 38 internatial offices. He also played a decisive role in Shazam's takeover by the company, which has not yet obtained regulatory approval.

Schusser will have to move from Ld to California and even spend time at Apple Park in Cupertino and Culver City, Variety reported. His replacement will be Tracey Hannelly, who has been serving Apple since 2007.

The rise of Schusser will have no effect the role of Jimmy Iovine, who joined Apple after taking over ctrol of Beats in 2014 by Variety source says. The exact role of Iovine at Apple Music has been unclear, but it is known …
