Citing sources close to the subject, Bloomberg reports that Apple cut Inventec's HomePod orders at the end of March, less than two mths after the loudspeakers were been sold.
Originally scheduled for sale in December in time for the lucrative holiday seas, HomePod was delayed last year. When the device was finally pre-ordered in January, it captured about a third of the smart speaker market, according to the report, citing Slice Intelligence statistics.
