The paywalled report claims that an increasing number of home builders have agreed to partnerships with Amaz to build homes with Alexa-preinstalled compatible accessories, rather than Apple's HomeKit-based products.
Last year, for example, Amaz reportedly entered into a large-scale agreement with Lennar, e of the largest homebuilders in the United States. Lennar first had a partnership with Apple in 2016, but the company "prioritizes Amaz now."
As part of its deal, Lennar has access to Amaz's growing army, the home service team of the company. , to shop around each new owner and make sure their smart home is plugged in.
