Adobe today looked into the completely overhauled ft interface to pave the way for two of its company's most popular Creative Cloud applicatis, InDesign and Illustrator.

With deep integrati with Adobe Typekit, the new ft menu in InDesign and Illustrator adds several functis to streamline the creators' workflows that depend the applicati a daily basis. This experience begins with an improvement in the preview of the ft. Larger types of samples are displayed beside each ft and the user can enter any text to use as a sample and it will be much easier to quickly compare typefaces.
Creative Cloud members can access 9,000 fts thanks to Adobe's Typekit library. Today, the ly way to manage and add fts to creative cloud applicatis is to use the Typekit web interface. In future releases of InDesign and Illustrator, Adobe added the power of Typekit the Web to the ft menu. Available fts can be previewed, activated, and synchrized without switching applicatis. Users can even use Typekit's ft filtering UI to quickly find the ft they are looking for.

In additi to today's Creative Cloud news, Adobe has also announced that it adds 665 Motype fts to the Typekit library. The new collecti ctains a number of classical designs created in the early 20th century and sophisticated adopti for digital type.
