A study reveals that Samsung phes fail more often than any iPhone

T The iPhone 6 is the flagship product of Apple that is most likely to fail – but not as much as Samsung devices – according to the results of a new study.

Data security and erasure firm Blancco released this mth's report titled "State of repair and mobile device security" that took a look at the failure rate of popular smartphes . That is, to what extent a device needs to be repaired.

The report distinguished Apple devices in their category and ranked them according to their failure rate.

What Blancco found was that the iPhone 6 was the the most likely handset to fail at around 22 percent . The iPhone 6s came in secd with a failure rate of 16%

The rest of the iPhone range was in single digits, with the iPhone 6s Plus getting a rate of 39, 9% failure. The study examined flagship iPhone devices that date back to the iPhone 5s – but it oddly missed the iPhone SE and the iPhone 8.

The latest devices Apple might be the least likely to fail, such as the iPhone X and the iPhone 8 Plus a failure rate of 3 percent. To be fair, this could be due to the relative novelty of the devices. But it is worth noting that the old iPhone 5s had a failure rate lower than that of the iPhone 6.

Blancco also noted that users have reported that the latest updates to iOS day had a negative impact the battery life of the iPhone 6.
