2018 iPhones have a new USB-C 18W faster charger

The widely-used trio of Apple's new iPhone models that is expected to be announced in September will feature 18-watt USB-C power adapters in the box for much faster wired charging , according to ChargerLab .

The new rounder AC adapter would cnect to an iPhone with a Lightning to USB-C cable, also intended to be included in the box, allowing much faster charging speeds than the tiny 5W square adapter included with current iPhones. A rendering of the European versi is shown above.
