Coronavirus cruise treated with 2000 iPhones deployed for everyone stuck at the edge

More curious example of the way in which the iPhone is involved with the outbreak of coronavirus, the Japanese Ministry of Health is set to hand over more than 2000 iPhones to passengers stuck aboard a ship of Princess cruise around Japan.

Reported by MacotakaraJapan is to give of the iphone, so that “there will be a unit of telephone booth in all passenger cabins and crew rooms.”

The reason to distribute the iphone with Softbank service is to give travelers access to the Japanese Ministry of Health app that will allow passengers on the cruise ship to discuss with a doctor.

So far, more than 100 people on the ship that has been quarantined since last week have been confirmed coronavirus.

The reason that the passenger would need an iPhone given to the access to health of the application is that there are many who would not be able to download it from the iOS App Store or the Google Play Store registered in a country other than Japan.

The Japanese Ministry of Health, Labour and welfare has confirmed cases of the coronavirus to the Diamond Princess cruise ship, now isolated edge of the sea. We are going to provide about 2000 unit of the iPhone operated by Softbank, and there will be a unit of telephone booth in all passenger cabins and crew rooms.
